The Garden is Growing!

Still not having found a full-time position, despite finishing  my MBA (focus in Marketing) this coming week, I am trying to remain positive. I have moved out of my own, rather comfortable, apartment and into my sister's apartment where parking is a nightmare and space is limited. But, I still am trying to think happy thoughts!

After spending the majority of the day moving, thank God for my dad and his moving company, my sister and I spent the rest of the night together, well up until I crashed from exhaustion.

This weekend I had the pleasure of brunching it up in Old City with two fabulous girls of mine! We headed to Cuba Libre where I enjoyed freshly squeezed orange juice and was able to order most items off the menu, as the cook was able to make all necessary accommodations. Of course, I ordered the duck!

Oil Free- Dairy Free-Nut Free Pesto

Simply use your food processor and combine:
-Basil
-Lemon Juice
-Garlic
-Red Pepper Flakes
-Frozen Arugula

Enjoy!
I decided to try this pesto on my veggie burger topped with grilled pineapple :D

Food For All Market Sandwich

The Jodi:  local sun-dried tomato hummus, sliced house roasted Eberly turkey breast, local melted Farmer’s cheese & organic roasted peppers.
Verdict: This sandwich was the BEST gluten free sandwich I have yet to have. The bread was not overly dry, the meat was juicy, and the taste was excellent.
